Meaghan & David

Please join us for our wedding celebration

September 3rd to 5th, 2027

Our

Story

David first knocked on the Osbornes' front door in the summer of 2018, hoping to sell window-cleaning services. He was greeted by Mr. Osborne, who was impressed by the confidence and hustle of the young man in front of him.

The following summer, David met Nana and Papa Brkovich for a rototilling job. David brought his Nonno along for wisdom, a gesture that quickly impressed Nana and Papa. Before long, a plan (unbeknownst to Meaghan and David) was formed: David would connect with Mr. Osborne over the Civic Holiday weekend, perfectly timed with Meaghan's visit home from Montreal.

Meaghan still remembers the butterflies (and the heat) of that September afternoon in 2019, stuck in traffic in David's Volvo without air conditioning on the way to their first date at the Black Trumpet. By their second date at Nico's, Meaghan saw the qualities she was looking for in a partner: discipline, ambition, and unwavering care for the people he loves.

Since those first two dates, Meaghan and David have spent many years supporting each other's dreams and challenges, which they like to call their 'mountains'. These mountains include Meaghan's journey in becoming a physician and David's journey in building Scelta.

On December 11th, 2025 in Mudjin Harbor, Middle Caicos, Meaghan said 'yes' to the next adventure: marriage.

Getting to

Revelstoke

Where are you travelling from?

WestJet offers direct flights from Windsor to Calgary and connecting flights from Windsor to Kelowna with a stop in Calgary.

Air Canada offers connecting flights from Windsor to both Calgary and Kelowna with a stop in Toronto.

Driving to Revelstoke

The 4½-hour drive from Calgary to Revelstoke is one of the most scenic routes in Canada, passing through Banff, Johnston Canyon, and Lake Louise. Many travellers choose to make a day trip of the drive, while others stay overnight in Canmore, Banff, or Lake Louise before continuing to Revelstoke. If you would prefer to get to Revelstoke as quickly as possible, we recommend flying into Kelowna which is only a 2½-hour drive from Revelstoke.

No matter which option you choose, we recommend renting a car. Having a rental car also makes it easier to explore Revelstoke. While many activities are right at the base of Revelstoke Mountain Resort (where Sutton Place Hotel is located), there are other incredible adventures (including hikes at Glacier National Park and Rogers Pass) that are about 15–45 minutes away by car.

Things to Do in Revy

Activities at Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR)

There are plenty of adventures at RMR where Sutton Place Hotel is located. From steep hikes like Kill the Banker, to the Fifty Six Twenty mountain bike trail (longest lift-access vertical in North America), to the Mountain Coaster, there is something for everyone.

Whichever activities you choose, we highly recommend stopping at Mackenzie Outpost for a smash burger to re-fuel.

Mount Revelstoke National Park

The park is home to a network of scenic bike paths and hikes. It is also the historic site of the Nels Nelson ski jump, where Nelson set a world ski jumping record in 1933. The Eva Lake trail is one of our favourite hikes in the park. It's a longer hike, moderate in difficulty, through meadows, rocky valleys, and subalpine forests, ending at the beautiful turquoise Eva Lake. Distance: 14.2 km round trip. Elevation gain: ~465 m. Time: ~5–7 hours.

Whitewater Rafting

Float the Illecillewaet River—a glacier-fed stretch winding from the surrounding peaks toward the Columbia River. In September, water levels are typically lower, making for a more relaxed and scenic ride through the valley.

Motor Sports

If you prefer your adventure with an engine, Revelstoke also offers excellent dirt biking and side-by-side riding. Expect incredible mountain views and a bit of mud along the way.
